Program opportunities

Drage is a small Croatian village on the Adriatic coast, in Northern Dalmatia, between Zadar and Šibenik. It is located in a picturesque setting - it is interesting to see the sea from the front and the Vrana Lake from behind. Beaches, water programs

The area is a real paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Drage's beaches are mostly pebble, rocky but there are sandy beaches as well. Beside swimming in crystal clear water, it provides opportunities for snorkelling, diving, windsurfing and sailing. Next to the beach there is a dense pine forest that offers shady shelter on the hottest hours of the day, while in the evening you can take a romantic walk along the illuminated walkway.

National parks, excursions, cycling

The largest lake in Croatia, Lake Vrana, that is rich in fish, is located 2 km far away from the coast. This this area is an ornithological reserve and there are plenty of bike paths around. Visitors are enchanted by the extraordinary beauty of the diverse landscape: the smaller and larger islands in the bay, the amazing forests on the shore, and the wild hills from where the trekkers can enjoy beautiful views. Drage is surrounded by three national parks: Krka, Kornati and Paklenica. In the past the Kornati Islands provided shelter for the persecuted pirates and it is now a tourist attraction. Plitvice Lakes or the Krka Falls are also important natural sights. There are organized boat trips to the Kornati National Park and further individual programs for the visitors.

Sightseeing

During your stay here it is worth to visit the nearby cities like Pakoštane (5 km), Biograd na Moru (10 km), Vodice (20 km), Šibenik (37 km), Zadar (38 km), and a little further, Croatia's second largest city named Split (127 km) is also a great destination for a little excursion.
